By accessing or using TimerToStudy (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TimerToStudy is a free, browser-based study timer tool offering Pomodoro-style timers, ambient sounds, local note-taking, focus statistics, and related productivity features. The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

3. No Account Required – Local Storage Only

The Service does not require registration or login. All data (notes, timer stats, quiz progress) is stored exclusively in your browser using localStorage. We have no access to it and do not back it up.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express permission
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access or overload the Service

5. Intellectual Property

The design, code, text, graphics, ambient sound selections, and overall look & feel of TimerToStudy are owned by the creators or licensed appropriately. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service without written permission.

You retain full ownership of any notes or content you create while using the Service (stored locally in your browser).

6. Ambient Sounds & Third-Party Content

Ambient sounds are provided for personal, non-commercial use only. We do not claim ownership of the underlying audio; they are used under fair use / licensing arrangements suitable for this context. Do not redistribute or use them commercially.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creators of TimerToStudy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice or liability. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country/jurisdiction where the service provider is based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
